Indoor Air Quality
The Ohio Department of Health houses the Indoor Environments Section of their Bureau of Environmental Health in order to educate the public and promote healthy indoor atmospheres. This involves the smoke-free workplace program, the school environmental health and safety program, and the asthma program.
The Clark County Combined Health District and the Ohio Department of Health can provide consultation services to the public regarding the following indoor health concerns:
- Mold
- Heating
- Ventilation
- Air conditioning
- Asbestos
- And more
The Health District can arrange an indoor air quality assessment of homes and businesses to help occupants identify the causes of breathing problems, mold issues, allergies triggers, and asthma issues.
If you suspect that you have health issues related to the quality of your indoor air, contact the CCCHD at 937-390-5600. You can also visit the ODH webpage for more information or contact them directly:
