The Clark County Combined Health District received a grant through the Ohio Department of Health to fund new services. These services will address reproductive health and wellness (including family planning). An important goal of the grant is to improve the overall health and well-being of women and men by promoting healthy lifestyles and encouraging the establishment of a reproductive life plan.
Reproductive Health and Wellness services will be an opportunity for all women and men 13 years and older to receive the following services :
- Patient Education
- Receive pap testing, preconception care, contraceptives/birth control
- Pregnancy and STD testing
- Pelvic, breast and testicular exams
- Reproductive health education and appropriate vaccines
Currently, the Reproductive Health and Wellness Clinic is open the following days and times:
- MONDAY 5:00pm - 7:00pm WALK-IN ONLY
- THURSDAY 8:00am - 4:30pm APPOINTMENT ONLY
The CCCHD will accept insurance from Buckeye, Anthem, Caresource, Molina and Medicaid. We do not take any My Care plans. A sliding fee scale is used to determine costs to those that do not have insurance or for those with insurance that we cannot bill. Clients meeting state guidelines will not be turned away for inability to pay.
Clark County Combined Health District Reproductive Health and Wellness receives funding from the Ohio Department of Health, Reproductive Health and Wellness Program Title X grant.
