  • Addresses single item only, i.e., roofing, plumbing, lead, etc.
  • Owner Occupants of up to 3 units, household income must be less than 80% of area median
  • Terms: Interest rate @ 5%, up to $3,000, over 5 years
• HOME Loan Program, HOME funded
  
  • Comprehensive repair program that can include lead items
  • Owner Occupants only of single-family residences, household income must be less than 80% of area median
  • Terms: Interest Rate 0-5%, up tp $20,000, over 10 years

2 - City of Springfield / 76 E. High Street / Springfield, Ohio

• LEAD Program / LEAD Grant funded /328-3930
  • Addresses only identified Lead Base Paint hazards for either owner occupants of single family residences or investors of property with no more than three units in a structure
  • Occupants of structure must have a household income of less than 80% of area median
  • Terms: Up to maximum of $8,000 per unit. Interest rate, 0% over a 1 or 3 year period dependent on type of property, with monthly payments that are deferred. At the end of the deferred period if the applicant is in compliance, the loan provided can be forgiven.
• Exterior Improvements Program / Windows and Siding / 324-7368, CDBG funded
  • Addresses either windows and siding or both, that may have been identified as having lead
  • Owner occupied program, must be a single-family residence
  • Seasonal program, usually offered in the Spring
  • Household income must be less than 80% of area median
  • Terms: 3% interest rate over ten years, with a $15,000 maximum loan amount
