Lead testing is for children 6 years old and younger.

The child's parent or guardian must be present for consent.

Children living in high-risk zip code areas...or having any one risk factor must be lead tested.

Testing is mandatory at 12 and 24 months of age for all Medicaid recipients. Be sure to bring your
Medicaid, CareSource, Molina or Amerigroup card.

Lead testing will be done by capillary blood collection. If levels are elevated then a repeat test is
recommended in one month and can be either venous draw or capillary blood collection.

To better serve you, it is advisable to call the Clark County Combined Health District prior to your clinic
visit to confirm a specific upcoming clinic time. Holidays may interupt this normal schedule. Thank you.
